The Lions Pride

2004-10-26 [Lioness2]: *bares her teeth* Me too. I soptted a nnice group of gazelle on my travells here, just west, by the watering hole. It's surrounded by long grass...perhaps a sneak attack would be in mind?

2004-10-26 [Lioness123]: *thinks...* no, last time the was barely enough to go around. Gazelle aren't very big... perhaps we should try our skills on larger prey...

2004-10-27 [Lioness2]: Well...they lived in groups, yes, but not called prides. If i find out the name of their groups i'll tell you. Ok [Lioness123]...how about to the North...the open fields hold Buffalo and zebra...we could practise our attacks there too.

2004-10-27 [Lioness123]: bison live on another continent, lol...Too far for me to drive, even if they do make great burgers. How about we try our luck with a zebra?

2004-10-28 [Lioness123]: bison is the plurel (sp) form of buffalo..you wouldn't say, "Look at those buffalos over there" same as oxen not oxs

2004-10-28 [Lioness2]: no...[Lioness123]...bison and buffalo are two different paths of the same species...ok, i've researched... http://www.wildlifesafari.info/common_mammals.htm check that out. Look under antelopes...you'll find a list of african bovine. There is buffalo in the list, as well as wildebeast...two different subspecies, like the bison...
